Submission

Texts should be submitted in Microsoft Word format (.docx, .doc or .rtf), or in Open Office file format (ODF). Please do not send pdf files.

Remember to specify exactly what type of editing you require (see Copy-Editing).

If required, please contact me initially for an estimate. You are also advised to book in advance.

The copy-editor normally receives the manuscript as the last stage before submission to the journal. For PhD students, it is always the responsibility of the supervisor to ensure that the science in the manuscript is correct, and the supervisor will usually also help straighten out the language.

If the supervisor is pushed for time, I can also provide an extra service by taking over the language editing at an earlier stage.
